The Tennessee Titans face another tough hurdle this season. As the perennial underdog of the league, they have been fighting against the odds for over 50 seasons, with little to no success. The team’s impact on the league was only significant during the late 90s, and ever since, they have failed to fulfill the expectations of their fans. This year, there was hope of a comeback, but they have unfortunately been struck by a troubling incident involving their running back, Hassan Haskins.

On Thursday, Hassan Haskins was arrested and charged with aggravated assault for reportedly strangling his girlfriend, Makiah Green. According to the arrest warrants, Haskins allegedly choked Green using both hands for a duration of 10-15 seconds following the argument.

Furthermore, Green claimed in the warrants that the running back physically assaulted her by “punching and kicking” the door after the incident at the restaurant. Additionally, the warrant includes submitted photographs of Green’s bruises following the altercation.

Green is also charged with assault charges, in addition to the charge of vandalism. According to the warrant, both individuals engaged in physical altercations, slapping each other during their fight. Green added in her report that she threw a glass at Haskins, which shattered upon impact with a closing door, the same door Haskins had kicked and broken in half. She also admitted to breaking a chain worth $5,000 that belonged to Haskins during their physical altercation.

Green had also thrown Haskins’ phone on the ground upon discovering explicit pictures on it. Which led to Green grabbing a kitchen knife and threatening to slash Haskins’ tires. In response, Haskins drew his gun, prompting Green to set the knife down.
