DK Metcalf is one beast athlete in the NFL. He has been a nightmare for many cornerbacks and has quite an impression for his combined skills in strength and speed. However, his goals and aspirations don’t just limit to the gridiron. Recently he revealed his plans to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Yes, the young receiver wants to represent the USA in France. During his recent interview with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report, he said that it was not something that he simply wants to try; he legitimately wants it and is something he has been looking forward to achieving.

NFL Twitter reacts to DK Metcalf training for 2024 Olympics
This is not the first time the Seattle star wants to be a part of the Olympics. He even ran the qualifiers of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics just the previous year. Though he failed to qualify, he surprised many by clocking an incredible 10:37 100m dash. “I’m not just running just to run. I can do that on a track somewhere. I’m trying to go to the Olympics,” the receiver stated.

However, it will be quite a battle for the 6 ft 4 in, 235 lbs beast to be Olympics ready in such a short period (just two offseasons). On top of it, he is in no shape to hit the tracks since he underwent surgery in January to remove a screw from his foot which was placed in a previous procedure. He is currently diagnosed to wear an orthopedic boot. Yet he believes he would make it happen “for sure.”

Tf are you talking about? If he qualifies, and that‘s a big if, he‘d absolutely deserve the start. Why would it matter how long the training‘s been?
