This got the NFL community talking. While one goat was bigger than the other, people started speculating as to who the two cover stars might be. And as reported by us here at EssentiallySports, the NFL superstars set to grace the cover of Madden 22 are indeed Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes.
The two quarterbacks who faced off at Super Bowl LV will be the stars for this year’s instalment of the three-decade long-running video game franchise.

This is not the first time either have featured on the cover of Madden. While Tom Brady featured on the cover of Madden 2018, Mahomes was the cover star for Madden 2020.
Brady’s appearance on the cover of Madden 22 will also be the first time a Tampa Bay Buccaneers player gets to feature on the cover of Madden.
With Brady and Mahomes both present, this is also the first time since Madden 2010 that two NFL athletes grace the cover of the video game franchise. Back then it was Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Pittsburg Steelers’ Troy Polamalu.
