It’s official – Tom Brady will endure as a Buccaneer. NFL analyst Adam Schefter revealed that Tom Brady signed a contract extension with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This means that he will remain with the franchise till 2022, and till the age of 45.
Twitter blew up at this development. While no one expected Brady to force a move out of Tampa Bay in the off-season, only a handful of people expected him to sign a contract extension.
This contract will put Tom Brady on track to play at least until the age of 45. This contract was also signed in order to reduce Brady’s base salary so that the Buccaneers have more cap flexibility to make moves in free-agency.
