Tom Brady and Bucs pulled off a 20-10 victory against the Saints in Week 2 of the NFL. This is a rewarding show for the head coach Todd Bowles and his men, as it is the first time since 2018 that they won against the Saints. This win makes it 2-0 on the season for the Bucs. There was a sense of nostalgia, as TB12 had played at the same venue 20 years ago against the same opponents.
Even though the game witnessed a total of 30 points, it was a hard fight with both teams not willing to give up on the advantage. However, Bucs’ defense stood tall, and it made a vast difference in the outcome. As a result, NFL legend Tom Brady was a cheerful man while addressing the presser.

The NFL icon sounded confident about his team’s performance despite struggling with injuries ahead of the contest. “Uh, it’s an emotional game, so I think a little better execution helps all the way around. The defense played great again. Line fought hard. All the guys were tough in their five hours. A tough team and really well-coached. We really struggled with it. So it feels good about the win,” Tom Brady said.
How did Tom Brady and Co eke out a win?
It was not an easy win, as both teams resorted to a hard style of football. But four straight possessions in the second half proved the significant change. It resulted in 17 points for Tampa Bay and helped the former champions to register a hard-fought victory.
Winston finished with 236 yards passing, a touchdown, and three picks. Meanwhile, Brady tossed for 190 yards and one touchdown. Bucs cornerback James Dean accounted for two of Tampa’s three interceptions on the day.
