He said, “Much of my life has been interesting to people because I have been a little bit of an enigma at times with trying to keep my private life private because I believed that was important. And I didn’t want to work through problems with my family in the public sphere, as unfortunately, they did at times.” Rodgers’ perspective is understandable, given his image as a high-profile athlete with a considerable following.
