The NFL has yet to witness a QB as consistent as the Colts legend, Peyton Manning. Following a first-overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft, the former Indianapolis QB oversaw a career of near omnipresent. He’d not miss a single game ever since he made his debut in the gridiron of the NFL, until his final season at the Denver Broncos. Although the QB has been away from the NFL pitches for almost a decade, he has maintained his links to the sport, nonetheless.

He’d recently endorsed and produced the Netflix hit – Quarterback that brought a behind-the-scenes lens to the fans. But that’s not all he has limited himself to in endorsing, with his latest affiliation overseeing the QB rekindling his collegiate days with a twist.

Peyton Manning goes back to college in different shoes

The University of Tennessee has yet to produce an Alumni who can compete with the mantle of Peyton Manning. This makes the comeback story all the sweeter for the Broncos and Colts QB, with regards to the latest update. In a tweet uploaded by the University of Tennessee on their handle, they allowed us to catch a glimpse of their former alumni getting back to the desks he once spent years in during his collegiate days.

The tweet hosted a clip for the Manning fans to view the interaction between the 2x SB winner and the students. But his fans weren’t the only ones excited, with the Twitter handle hyping up the experience they shared with their former student. The tweet doubled down on their experience with the caption, “You know the semester’s off to a great start when it’s the second week of classes and Peyton Manning is your professor!

The clip would share some of the instances of Manning speaking to the class, where the faculty members would sit in to hear what the QB had to share with them. The senior members as well as the students sat down with a keen interest in learning from the man who cemented his legacy in the NFL. Manning would pose for a picture with the students upon the conclusion of his visit to the UT College of Communication and Information. The successful visit to his old stomping grounds will remind the fans of his other endeavors, especially the blockbuster that was released a little while back.

Manning knocks it out of the park with streaming giant

While the buildup to the release of the Netflix documentary may have been underwhelming, Quarterback was not. The NFL documentary was the first of its kind, following the stories and journeys of 3 QBs. Mahomes, Cousins, and Mariotta shared their season along with their ups and downs in Manning’s production. The change in trajectory from an underwhelming build-up to a massive success adds yet another feather to Manning’s decorated cap.

The reported success of the documentary has increased speculation for a season 2 from the upcoming NFL season. While no concrete announcements have been made so far, fans can remain hopeful that the Colts QB will deliver a similar vein of production if it comes back for another installment.
