As per new updates, after the trade window for Jimmy Garoppolo opens up, the Atlanta Falcons come up as a unique suitor.

According to NFL writer Cam Marino, Ryan Pace from the Falcons’ Front Office is the moderator for the move. Both Pace and Jimmy have old ties. Moreover, he and Sean Payton had eyes on the QB coming off the draft.

If Atlanta’s depth chart is analyzed, Garoppolo appears to be the favorite to start, or at the very least to compete with Marcus Mariota for the starting job. Not to forget Desmond Ridder, who could become the next great quarterback. All in all, Jimmy G as a Falcon makes sense if he wants to make another start.

Other logical Jimmy Garoppolo signal-calling locations

The opening for Jimmy Garoppolo has the heat. A veteran quarterback with good capabilities might be desirable for a few teams. Apart from the Atlanta Falcons, the Seattle Seahawks could use some Garoppolo instincts in the position. Drew Lock is subjected to being the starter, but the situation is just not workable. While Geno Smith is the secondary QB, the requirement of a veteran mind in the Seahawks looks inevitable.

Apart from the Seahawks, Cleveland Browns could be the other. The Deshaun Watson NFL suspension is in limbo, and Baker Mayfield is off to Carolina. The franchise may need Jimmy G in case Watson faces a full-season suspension. Furthermore, the New York Giants might need Prince Alladin’s service as QB1 Daniel Smith’s contract may run out, and they did not exercise the fifth-year option.
