The fan possessed a football. He paid out more than half a million dollars, as the ball has its major significance. This is the ball passed by Tom Brady in his last game before he announces his retirement last season. The ball, however, has shed almost all of its worth since the 44-year-old player decided on returning to professional football, according to analysts.

The Tom Brady fan is ready to bid more

Ron Firman, a Miami commercial real estate entrepreneur, bid $518,628 at an auction for Brady’s last goal throw ball. However, Brady’s 180-degree turn occurred just under 24 hours after the bidding process closed.

Inside Edition‘s Lisa Guerrero recently sat down for a conversation with Ron Firman. The Miami-based realtor recalls it as an unbelievable experience, and he couldn’t believe it was happening. While Ron Firman won’t be called unlucky, he and the auction house later unanimously decided to void the deal of the ball. Although, the realtor also stated that if Brady retires for good next season, he is ready to start all over again.

He remarks, “If a wide receiver throws it into the crowd again, I’m going to be bidding on that ball again. You can bet on that.”

Firman stated that despite being a major Tom Brady admirer, he never meant to keep it. Rather, he intended to collaborate with the auction house to donate it to a museum for public viewing.

According to CBS News, Brady threw a 55-yard pass in the end zone to WR Mike Evans during a postseason game against the Los Angeles Rams using the football on January 23 in Tampa, Florida. Evans flung the same ball into the fans at Raymond James Stadium after the score. A person in the audience picked the ball up and sold it off.
