After releasing two videos featuring Serena Williams and Curry, the brand dropped a new one featuring all four superstars. Subway figured that the perfect way to spread the word about their new menu would be by having star athletes endorse it. And they were not wrong.

Subway’s Chief Marketing Officer Carrie Walsh earlier spoke in detail about the campaign. He said that given the magnitude of changes being brought in, the company felt one spokesperson just wouldn’t be enough.

But what surprised many was seeing Tom Brady feature in the video. Brady, who follows a very strict lifestyle routine has previously stated that he has never stepped foot inside a Subway.

His fitness routine is modelled in such a way that it cuts out junk food altogether. In his book ‘The TB12 Method’ he even goes as far as to refer to food companies as “chemical companies.”

Thus given Brady’s thoughts about the fast-food industry, even Steph Curry couldn’t help but poke some fun at Brady. While endorsing the franchise’s new Turkey Cali Fresh sub, Brady was asked by Curry whether he even consumes bread.
