Jerry Jones’ plan to sign Randy Gregory back did not succeed. But there is a possibility that the Cowboys could bring a new Super Bowl champion onboard. Reports by the NFL Network also stated that Von Miller is interested in signing a deal with Dallas. The Texas native wants a facility that is close to his home.

The Dallas Cowboys are yet to sign a new player

The Dallas Cowboys is one of the teams who haven’t signed a free agent this offseason. They are focused on keeping their own players. The main focus of America’s team is to renegotiate deals, franchise tags, or extensions. They did try to bring Randy Gregory back, but things did not go as planned. The franchise needs another rusher to run down the field with DeMarcus Lawrence. To get a player like that, the Cowboys are looking outside the organization.

Von Miller could be the perfect guy for the job. Reports say that both sides are interested in a deal and we can see the Super Bowl LVI champion in a Cowboys helmet next year. Miller is a Texas native. He grew up in a suburb near Dallas. The athlete has a home near the Cowboys facility. Miller has also been a Dallas Cowboys fan since childhood. Back in 2011, the LB even reached out to Jerry Jones for a trade. So when the opportunity comes knocking, he might accept it in a heartbeat.

Von Miller got traded from the Denver Broncos to the Los Angeles Rams last season. And in his first year in California, he helped the franchise win the big one. The linebacker started in all eight games that he played. He also made 5 sacks.
