Even though Von Miller has jumped the ship towards Buffalo, he had some major interest in another top-level NFL franchise. And his recent Instagram story alongside Micah Parsons gives out some major indications. In the offseason, the Cowboys needed some serious pass rush help. Also, historical and modern Cowboys defense were not reluctant to ask for it.

Von Miller shared a photo with Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons on Stories on Instagram. Both of them are at AT&T Stadium, the Cowboys’ stomping grounds. The caption implies that he was close to signing with the franchise prior to actually landing on the Buffalo Bills.

LB Miller, 32, is coming off his second Super Bowl victory alongside the Los Angeles Rams last season. He was also instrumental in the Denver Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 victory. With him teaming forces with Josh Allen, a youthful and combative quarterback, Buffalo’s chances of reaching the Super Bowl improve.
Miller has 540 tackles, 115.5 sacks, 233 quarterback hits, and 154 tackles for loss in his career. He cycled between the Denver Broncos, wherein he expended the first decade of his chosen profession, and the Los Angeles Rams, and now the Buffalo Bills.

While the Cowboys could not sign Miller, they were able to improve their pass rush by adding defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. They also moved on to sign nine fresh draft prospects who can help them construct a Super Bowl-caliber team in the future.
