The Bills linebacker Von Miller had an illustrious career in Broncos country alongside one of the best QBs of all time, Peyton Manning. Although Sheriff happens to be his No 1 prospect in the QB race, the veteran recently disclosed his love for Tom Brady and how he almost got a tattoo of the Buccaneers passer.

The two-time Super Bowl Champion spent a decade inside the Broncos’ locker room. And leading the defensive unit from the front, Miller witnessed generations passing in front of his eyes and understands what it takes to reach the top.

Recently, he was accompanied by the Tampa Bay wideout Mike Evans in the latest episode of ‘The Von Cast’. They talked about various issues inside and outside of the NFL. That’s when netizens asked Miller to name his favorite passer, and without a second thought, he named Brady and Manning simultaneously.

He revealed that he had almost got a tattoo of both. “I almost got a Tom Brady tattoo, and a Peyton Manning tattoo. Those are my two favorite quarterbacks ever,” Miller said on the show before detailing his compassion towards Manning.

At first, Miller mentioned that he was planning to get Brady’s TB12 numbered tattoo on his ankle. But at the last minute, he changed his mind. He admitted that it hurts a lot and delayed it hoping he would get it sometime later. Well, it could have been anyways a betrayal for Manning, whom he keeps in high regard compared to other passers.

“I got to see Peyton Manning up close and personal. And I got to see what made him great,” Miller said about the Sheriff’s greatness. The linebacker shared the 50th edition of the Super Bowl with him, calling it an iconic achievement of his life.

Apart from winning the Super Bowl, the linebacker often credited Manning for motivating him throughout the journey. Back in 2013, when Miller got suspended and suffered a torn ACL at the end of the campaign, it was Manning who stood as a source of inspiration for him.

“He motivated me on and off the football field,” the linebacker said in a past interview. “He kind of saved my career as well. Seeing the way he operated and seeing the things that he did and seeing the way that he moved kind of inspired me and set up the blueprint for how I should do things,” he added.

Indeed the blueprint seems to have worked out to a much larger extent in Miller’s career. He stands as one of the phenomenal talents of the current era and has a lot more left to achieve.
