A new season means new talents shining on the field of the NFL. This year’s Draft saw teams acquiring new rookies to start their professional football journey. It also saw top QB prospects like Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, and others going in the first round of the draft itself. Like their predecessors, these new talented rookies will be looking forward to creating their own legacies in the coming days of their career in the league.

But making a long-lasting impact in the NFL is one that comes with hard work and dedication. Even after being drafted as top prospects, there are chances of other players making it big, just like how NFL GOAT Tom Brady did after being drafted in the sixth round of the 2000 Draft. And some NFL insiders believe that it does not matter how high you get drafted if you are not able to follow up the hype surrounding your introduction into football’s most competitive league.

7X Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady is considered to the GOAT of the NFL with his 23-season glorious career. But even he was not a top draft pick during his days. Despite all the odds, his dedication and hard work led to him overtaking the then QB1 for the New England Patriots Drew Bledsoe in the roster. We witnessed a similar incident last season with the San Francisco 49ers, as ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ Brock Purdy proved to be the most relevant after becoming the QB1 with Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance suffering injuries on the field. So it may not be a surprise this year as well if other rookie QBs overtake these top draft prospects as some of the best players on the field.
