Not everyone in the NFL showed interest in Colin Kaepernick after his protests. As a result, the NFL reached out to Kaepernick and the teams for him to organize a formal workout. Consequently, it was for teams to take a look at his talent. However, Colin’s workout saw mixed reactions from analysts and team owners.
Warren Sapp did not hold back from commenting on his workout and how teams perceived it. As per the former Raider, he heard the workout was a disaster. But he never said anything about attending the workout or watching the workout tape.

In retrospect, Raiders‘ owner Mark Davis was among the first significant pick of team owners to invite Kaepernick to workout with a team. For the league, this was propelling as no team was showing any interest in Kaepernick. Especially after his protest against social injustices in America.

Former defensive end Marcellus Wiley expressed anger at Warren Sapp’s comments. He lashed out at him for outrightly saying that he ‘heard’ the workout was a disaster. Even though Sapp did not disclose his source, Wiley remarked it is not possible that the source would come forward anyway.
What did Marcellus Wiley say on Sapp’s comments about Colin Kaepernick?’
The former DE expressed his points against the comments of Warren Sapp. He said, “I heard it was a disaster. Could Warren Sapp, former Raider, have access to anybody who doesn’t wanna go on the record and state this workout was bad. I think he could.

He added, “Not a single soul would go on the record and say that because that’s bad for your workplace environment. So there we get to this place, we got his fundamental argument ‘I heard.’ And his supporting argument was that if the tape was that good. You would want it out for other teams.”
