The Los Angeles Rams star tackle Aaron Donald is ready to run it back. Donald has previously said that he would consider retiring if the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl. He wanted to go out on the top like a champion. But it seems like the defensive star is preparing for another season.

In a recent video on Twitter, we can see Donald do what he does the best. He looks more than ready to step back on the field. The tackle is one of the most important players in the Rams’ defensive squad. Defense is what got them to the Super Bowl.

Aaron Donald is ready to go

The retirement rumors were running wild this offseason. Aaron Donald has said it himself. Even after winning the Super Bowl, when the interviewer asked him about the future, the tackle was unable to give a proper answer. He was overcome with emotions. The rumors got intense after Donald listed his LA mansion for $6.2 million. Fans speculated that the athlete is retiring or shifting to somewhere else from California.

Sean McVay hinted at Donald’s return

The Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay is ready to run it back with Aaron Donald. During the press conference at the annual league meeting, McVay revealed that Donald plans to play in 2022. 

“Well it’s a huge priority for us,” said HC McVay. “I know that our group is working with [Donald’s agent] Todd France and trying to get that figured out. Feel really good about Aaron’s excitement about coming back and continuing to lead the way for us. But that is a piece that we do want to be able to get figured out for him. And I think he’s deserving of it. And so, we’re in the process of working through that right now.” The Rams and the fans hope Donald returns to the squad at full force. The next season will be very exciting for the Rams fans.
