Confettis fly and the SoFi erupts as Aaron Donald sacks Joe Burrow to win the Super Bowl LVI. Though many had already predicted it, the Rams defensive beast makes it happen for real. Donald was the first one in and the last one out during his clash against the Bengals QB. He proved why fans call him a monster.

Many speculated that the Bengals offense didn’t stand a chance against the bullying defense of the Rams, which turned out to be true. Although Burrow put on a great show against the Donald-led defense, he also concluded his campaign in the very hands of AD. It was a game of high stakes, and the Bengals O-Line succumbed to the wrath of the Rams.

Aaron Donald sacks Joe Burrow for the Super Bowl LVI title

The Bengals trailed the Rams 23-20 during their last drive of the game. Bengals sought a connection with just 43 seconds left on the clock at 4th and 1. Burrow makes the snap, and in no time, AD shows up like his worst nightmare and sacks him to the ground.

It was the last thing Joey ever wanted. With that horrific sack, Donald buried the Super Bowl dreams of the young QB and wrote an unwanted piece of history on the QB’s epitaph. Burrow sets a Super Bowl record with eight sacks.

Burrow and Rams were already on the opposite sides of the spectrum. On one hand, there was Joey, who was sacked the most number of times (51) this regular season. While, on the other hand, there were the Rams, who stood third as the most sacking team this season. Putting them together resulted in a nightmare for Burrow and the Cincy O-Line.
