The Jets might be ruling the AFC East, but there have been a lot of uncertainties inside the locker room. Receivers are requesting back-to-back trades for the sole reason being their lack of involvement in the games. After Denzel Mims requested a trade at the end of the preseason, second-year wideout Elijah Moore has recently expressed his displeasure following the Jets’ loss in Week 8.

The disgruntled wide receiver had been complaining about his underutilization for quite a long time. Despite having a splendid rookie season with 538 yards and five touchdowns in 11 games, the Ole Miss alum was never targeted, especially in the Week 8 game against the Patriots.

Zach Wilson, who came out of his knee injury, started the game, and guess what? He was not connected for even a single pass. After the game, when reporters asked him to describe his chemistry with Wilson, he said, “I don’t even know, I couldn’t even tell you. I don’t get the ball. I don’t know.”

This statement took no time to spread like a wildfire, and fans started shooting arrows at the management. Well, his displeasure does resonate with his previous request. According to Rich Cimini of ESPN, the wideout had requested a trade last week owing to his lack of utilization.

Per reports, he even had a verbal back-and-forth with head coach Robert Saleh and offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur. As a result, he was sent back home, and the management claimed that it was for personal reasons. He joined the camp one day later and continued with the sessions. Following the Jets’ game against the Packers, which the team had won, Moore shared a tweet.

So I’ll just stay quiet Just know I don’t understand either.” He wrote. Anyway, there hasn’t been any response from the team following his request. Currently, they are not willing to let him go.

NFL world reacts to Elijah Moore and his chemistry with Zach Wilson

While Joe Flacco was the starter, Moore averaged seven targets per game. However, in Wilson’s presence, he was connected nine times in four games this season. Altogether 71 Offensive snaps in Week 5 and Week 6 and none in the Patriots game, where they lost 22-17. Fans were just unhappy with the way he was treated.

However, others asked to trade him instead.

The youngster is clearly unhappy as he just requires some opportunity to prove himself. Wilson had earlier affirmed that the team will work out a viable plan to get the best out of him. Although it wasn’t evident this week. Hopefully, in the upcoming games, fans can expect Moore to roll down the field.
