WATCH : Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski Connect for Epic Buccaneers Touchdown

Everyone in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers locker room knew how important Saturday’s game against the Detroit Lions was. Bruce Arians’ boys were in dire need of a win as they attempt to nail down a playoff spot in the next two weeks.  However, it was legendary quarterback Tom Brady who stole headlines for some eye-catching displays in Week 16. The veteran shot-caller went 22 of 27, throwing for 348 yards with four passing touchdowns to his name. But this particular touchdown involving Buccaneers teammate Rob Gronkowski stood out from the rest.

Tom Brady looked totally unstoppable on Saturday as he wreaked havoc on the Lions. The six-time Super Bowl winner was at it in the first quarter itself as he connected with an old New England Patriots teammate for the first touchdown of the game.

Brady threw a dime towards former Patriots teammate and Buccaneers tight, Rob Gronkowski, end at the start of the first quarter to get the first points on the board. The pair bonded for a 33-yard touchdown to start proceeding for the Bucs who were playing away at Ford Field in Michigan.

Early in the first quarter, Brady spotted his teammate Gronkowski making a dash towards the Endzone. The tight end was being tailed by Lions’ Tracy Walker. However, TB12 let fly a stunning throw which Gronkowski managed to hold onto thanks to his massive built. He stumbled into the Endzone to register the Bucs’ first points of the game on Saturday.

Having already lost out the NFC South title to the New Orleans Saints, the Buccaneers made their way to a convincing 7-47 win in Week 16.
