Tom Brady- Michael Jordan win MJ invitational golf tournament

He did so in the 5th edition when he teamed with then 3× Super Bowl winner Tom Brady. The move worked wonders as the duo beat Rollie Fingers and Bill Guthridge by a close margin of 2 strokes.

Michael Jordan said, “It feels good. A lot of people are going to say you shouldn’t win, but I could care less what they say. I’m happy that we grinded enough today, we won, and we look forward to winning more hopefully.”

Brady attributed the win to his partner. However he highlighted his competitiveness.

“Michael’s chipping and putting. We had a great time, he’s a great partner. Whatever you’re playing, it’s always fun to compete and win.”

Tom Brady will certainly hope for another 6 under par round or better on Sunday as he attempts to one-up Peyton Manning yet again. However, instead of the fiercely competitive ‘MJ’ he will have golfing royalty in the form of Phil Mickelson by his side. Besides, he will compete to win as he has done throughout his career.
