Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are having quite the February this year. After the Kansas City Chiefs bagged the Vince Lombardi trophy last week, the couple was caught up with the parade and the Super Bowl celebrations. And this week, it was darling daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes’ birthday. And the family celebrated the birthday around animals and nature.

The older Mahomes child turned two yesterday. And Sterling had a fun-filled itinerary planned. Patrick and Brittany took Skye to the zoo. And the former professional soccer player’s Instagram story was flooded with pictures of Sterling’s adventurous day out.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany welcomed their newest family member, their son, Bronze, in October last year. And taking care of him takes up much of Brittany’s time at home these days. However, yesterday was all about firstborn Sterling and celebrating her special day.

Brittany Mahomes and her husband already gifted Sterling a Chanel purse worth nearly five thousand dollars. Skye even flaunted the purse in a Mahomes family portrait on Instagram. However, that was not it. Being an animal lover herself, Brittany has instilled some of those values in her daughter. Sterling loves the zoo, and the family made the trip to make her day.

The 2-year-old started her trip with the aquarium and headed off to the hippo corner. Then came some baby giraffes, and the dangerous crocs. “Watched gorillas fight,” Brittany posted next as the family enjoyed some ape action. An owl and teacup pigs formed the rest of the hectic trip for an excited Sterling.

Sterling inspired the new Patrick Mahomes shoe line

Sterling is a fan of the petting zoo and has made several visits before with her mother Brittany. However, this time it was more watching in awe and less petting. But in the middle of the to-and-fro, Brittany also shared the new Patrick Mahomes shoe line by Adidas. And the inspiration for the shoe? Sterling Skye Mahomes.

Mahomes’ new ‘Family Time’ Adidas line dropped and both father and daughter sported the new vibrant blue designs. “Rocking her dad shoes that were inspired by her,” Brittany posted another story with Sterling on Patrick’s shoulder.

Coming October, the Mahomes will have another special day with Bronze’s first birthday bound to be something extraordinarily special. And Sterling might even get a little jealous of her little brother.
