The Buffalo Bills are one win away from making it back to the grandest stage of them all in the NFL. With the Super Bowl in sight, the high-flying Bills still have a tough challenge lined up ahead of them. That being the Kansas City Chiefs.
With the winner being crowned the AFC champion and handed a ticket to the Super Bowl, the Bills know that they’ll have to bring their A-game if they are to beat the reigning champions.
But there is one uncertainty that lingers over this matchup. And that is the availability of Chiefs’ star QB Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes suffered a concussion in his side’s last game against the Cleveland Browns. The QB was unable to take to the field after taking a hit, and his availability for the AFC title game remains questionable.
Buffalo Bills ready to step up to the plate
Buffalo Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott said that his side will have their work cut out for them this week, given the challenge of preparing for 2 different quarterbacks in Mahomes and back up Chad Henne.
“They’re so good with the weapons they have around Patrick. Andy does such a good job – they’re well-coached, that we got to prepare for the system.

“We’ve got to prepare for both quarterbacks and that’s why we have a lot of work to do this week,” said McDermott while talking to NewYorkUpstate.com.
“We’ve got work to do to prepare. Certainly have a lot of respect for Patrick and how he plays the game and what he adds to their offense.”

The Bills Head Coach further complimented the Chiefs for having one of the most well-rounded teams in the league.

“They’re a really good opponent. They’re balanced in all 3 phases, and that’s why they’re the defending World Champs. We have to have a good week of preparation,” he said.
McDermott acknowledged the challenge at hand but said his Bills will have a plan ready to win the tie. “We’ve got to look and put a good, complimentary plan together for how we want to play the game, and try and win this game,” he said.
