Superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens has just dropped a bombshell on fans everywhere, addressing rumors that he could be traded in the near future. He took to social media and talked about potentially leaving the Ravens after asking for a trade. Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh made intriguing comments in response to reporters asking about the social media post made by Jackson.

It is worth noting that the Ravens have placed a non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson, which gives the QB an opportunity to talk to other teams in the league. Unfortunately, reports indicate that he has not received any formal offers from other teams. However, Jackson talking publicly about his trade request has certainly made things interesting for both teams, as Harbaugh addressed the whole situation.

Earlier, the Ravens HC was attending the annual league meeting in Arizona, where he talked to the media. When asked about whether Jackson will play for the Ravens franchise in 2023, the HC said, “I don’t know… I don’t know anything, really.”

Then he talked about Jackson’s recent tweet by saying, I haven’t seen the tweet, it’s an ongoing process. I’m following it very closely, just like everybody else is here. Looking forward to a resolution.

Despite the controversy surrounding the situation, Harbaugh remains optimistic and believes that a solution can be reached. He’s already planning for the upcoming season with Jackson as the quarterback, indicating that he’s confident the two parties can work things out.

Speaking about the possible solution, Harbaugh said, “I think Lamar believes in us and we believe in Lamar. And we know where we want to go forward. So, it’s a monetary thing, that can be figured out, that can be worked out. That’s just a matter of negotiation. And I think we just keep going down that road and eventually it’ll work out.”

After months of staying tight-lipped about his contract negotiations with the Ravens, Jackson has finally broken his silence. He’s made it abundantly clear that he’s ready to move on, as he hasn’t been offered the value that he’s seeking. Now, it’s up to the Ravens to either meet his demands or risk losing their star quarterback to another team.
