Micah Parsons did not let the Cowboys’ Sunday game incident slide. The defensive star called out, what according to him, represents the double standards within the league. The Cowboys star called attention to a controversial rule within the league. During the Dallas Cowboys game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Parsons was able to bag an important fumble recovery.

The game would’ve been in Dallas’ hands, but the Cowboys went three and out on their next drive. Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence found his opportunity to tie the game and eventually win in overtime. One would assume that the linebacker took to Twitter to rant about his team’s loss. But Parsons called out the game officials instead. What was Parsons so miffed about?

Micah Parsons was not amused by the fact that the referees missed a late hit on him. Post the loss to Jacksonville, Parsons tweeted, “Still no one talking bout this guy jumping on my neck?! But yet we can’t land on a quarterback!”. This season, conversation surrounding roughing the passer calls has been at the front of numerous conversations.

With the league prioritizing offensive players with these calls, there’s no doubt Parsons wants more attention directed at the defense. Parson’s tweet states how defensive players cannot land fully on a quarterback, but someone who stepped on a defensive player got away with no penalty. Parsons is one in a queue of individuals who have been unimpressed with the league regarding the officiating during games.
