10 Women Who Sought Action Against Deshaun Watson To Attend QB’s NFL Return: “We matter”

Deshaun Watson is set to make his return to the field this Sunday. The quarterback will make his comeback in the games against the Houston Texans. His suspension has been lifted. Watson complied with the league’s guidelines for his 11-game suspension, making him eligible to lay in time for the Browns’ bout against the Texans.

After the events surrounding Watson’s alleged misconduct unfolded, the league handed the quarterback a suspension. Watson had to undergo a mandatory treatment program. The quarterback was also fined $5 million. Over the summer, Watson has been buried in paperwork and legal matters. Watson has reportedly agreed to settle 23 of the 24 lawsuits that were filed against him.

Those who accused Deshaun Watson will watch him make his debut

The Cleveland Browns struck a deal with Watson in March. The trade is worth $230 million. It is the biggest contract in the league. Although the quarterback was suspended, as of November 16, he was back at the facility for team meetings.

According to reports attorney, Ted Buzbee stated that about 10 of those who accused Watson of alleged misconduct would be attending the quarterback’s debut against Houston. Buzbee represents these women. Their presence there makes a statement and is a reminder that their voice is heard. Deshaun Watson has denied all allegations thrown at him. The quarterback was not indicted of wrongdoing by two Texas grand juries.

Watson is the last resort of a struggling Browns

With Watson complying with the terms of his suspension, the Browns could officially add him to their roster. Watson will face his former team, the Houston Texans, in his debut for Cleveland. The Browns traded for Watson in March and gave his former team three first-round draft picks in exchange. The team also waived quarterback Joshua Dobbs.

During the quarterback’s 11-game suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, he was not allowed to visit the team facility or practice with them. But, since October 10, he was allowed to use the team’s training facility. Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has stated that he is excited to see Watson back in action. The Cleveland Browns are coming off a solid win against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Browns are currently at an unfortunate 4-7. They are ranked third in the AFC North, behind the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. They will hope to improve their record with the return of Deshaun Watson.
