Brock Purdy was at the NFL Honors in Phoenix, Arizona when ESPN’s Dianna Russini asked about the QB competition. Mr. Irrelevant had a positive approach while responding. He mentioned, “We both just got to get healthy. I have to get my arm right, then we’ll go from there, Obviously, Trey and I want to help the Niners win a Super Bowl. That’s all we care about. We want to win. And we’re going to compete. We’ll see what happens.”

Unlike Trey Lance, the Football faithful looked impressed over Purdy’s response.

“I think you just start Jimmy… He still won a lot of games before he got hurt, and he still put them in that position to be able to go on that run to begin with… You’ve got to go with the guy who’s been winning the games – and he gets the offense – and go from there,” Montana stated via Fox News
