Aaron Rodgers, while talking on the Dan Le Batard show, spoke about a host range of personal topics. The 38-year-old QB, shed light on his views about his transition from being a beloved figure to a polarizing athlete. He said a few people don’t like him for his views.

“I believe that’s true. You know, there are probably two people you could find who didn’t really like me and a couple of writers. That would give those people a forum to raise their thoughts when kicking us was a popular decision and route for a story to go down. But definitely was an issue that was very polarizing,” the experienced star said.

A-Rod also added he was a bit surprised when he was named the most polarizing athlete in the US. “I get it because we’re talking about a life or death issue and that gets tied to identity, and it gets tied to worth and truth and all these different big words and issues and tenets of our personality. So I understand it would be polarizing but maybe didn’t expect that type of extent of reaction,” the veteran of 18 seasons added.

Aaron Rodgers talks about mental health and the way ahead

A-Rod spoke at length about the importance of mental health. “We need to start looking at other things and maybe unconventional and start incorporating some different forms of medicines. There are some interesting studies going on right now with psilocybin and MDMA therapy for PTSD for the troops. Depression, anxiety, and various things. I think those are hopefully going to get more and more mainstream as we look for some non-opioid kind of treatments for some of our veterans coming back from war who are so banged up physically and mentally,” the experienced campaigner said.
