The San Francisco 49ers lost 31-7 to the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday’s NFC Championship clash. And the Birds fans had a day to remember at the Lincoln Financial Field. Nick Bosa couldn’t do much to stop the Eagles’ offense. However, fans seemed to have a bigger problem with elder brother Joey Bosa.

Joey wasn’t even playing. And although in Niners’ outfit, he drew more attention than the players when he got into a full-blown verbal altercation with an Eagles fan before the game. And the taunting continued throughout the game as Jalen Hurts and Co ran past the 49ers for a seat at Super Bowl LVII on February 12.

Joey Bosa didn’t lay back with the Philly supporter

The Eagles heckler shouted “Bosa” before heading towards the Los Angeles Chargers outside linebacker. And the two went on to have a heated to-and-fro, with Bosa losing his cool way quicker than the surrounding crowd expected, including a possible homophobic slur coming from Joey. His friends finally dragged him away to avoid further headlines and controversies.

“Hey, when do the Chargers play this week,” the fan asked Joey. And Bosa was in no mood for banter and replied, “Are you Snapchat-ing your little b— buddies, you f—ing loser?” The Philly fan was quick to reply. “Just video-ing the guy who isn’t playing today,” he said. Fans were not happy to see the Chargers star lose his cool with a fan.

Fans saw how easy it was to get under Bosa’s skin. And this could be the plausible explanation for his unprofessional conduct in the disastrous loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the super wild-card round playoff game.

Joey’s personal issues also came up in the banter-gone-wrong

The Los Angeles Chargers allowed a 27-point lead to slip in a historic comeback for Trevor Lawrence and Co to start the playoff action this year. And the Philly fan brought back some painful memories for Bosa. Mainly, the $55,456 fine for his two unsportsmanlike conduct incidents in the historic 31-30 loss to the Jags.

Joey slammed his helmet in frustration related to a missed false start. And clearly, the Chargers star has some calming practices to do. Bosa also publicly criticized the officiating in a post-game locker room presser. And the OLB received a financial penalty for that as well. And this gave the doorway to the Eagles fan, who asked, “how are those fines, Bosa?”
