Being a celebrity is a burden in itself. And who knows it better than Gisele Bündchen, one of the greatest Supermodels of all time! Along with glamour, fame, and money, there’s a lot to risk, and it takes immense sacrifice in one’s personal life. Speaking about which, Bündchen once revealed how she schooled her kids to behave and adjust just like anyone else.

The former Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, and the Brazilian Supermodel started seeing each other in 2006. After dating for a brief period, they married three years later.

Soon the NFL power couple gave birth to two kids, Benjamin and Vivian. They set up a beautiful family of five along with Brady’s oldest son Jack whom he shares with Bridget Moynahan. It was all a dream come true for Bündchen, who halted her $400 million career to raise kids and look after the family. In the meantime, she authored one of the best-selling books, “Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life”.

In her book, she spoke about a wide range of issues from her personal life and imparted rational advice to her kids. In one of her essays, Bündchen revealed that she was worried about her son Benjamin learning the new word “celebrity” from school. It made her wonder how others treated him and what all things he learned.

“It made me think about what he might be hearing at school about Tom and me that he doesn’t tell us about,” Bündchen wrote. At that point, she realized it was high time to let her kids know what Brady and her work life actually looked like.

She gave a beautiful explanation for the term ‘celebrity’. “I told him, a celebrity is someone who works at a job that is more visible than other jobs. Doctors, dentists, teachers, farmers- they all do very important work,” Bündchen told her son.

Brady might be a leader inside the locker room, but when it comes to family, the passer often delegated responsibilities on his wife’s shoulder.

Speaking in an interview, Bündchen revealed that she was forever grateful for it and appreciated her husband’s trust. “I’m very grateful that he lets me take the reins when it comes to our family. He trusts my decisions,” she said.

While Brady’s entire focus was on football, Bündchen always prioritized family and her kids. Well, that makes sense anyways, despite seeking a divorce, she didn’t give up the parenting rights of her children.
