Bernard Pollard appears in ‘The Herd With Colin Cowherd,’ and he opens up about the banter with Lamar Jackson. The Ravens QB1 took out vital swings on the former Super Bowl champion, but Pollard Jr. cleared the situation. He cites misunderstanding as the problem that led to their online feud.
Bernard mentions, “I mean, no. At the end of the day, as I tell people all the time, at some point in time, players have enough. They have taken enough, and I completely understand. I think he misunderstood where I said, ‘Yo, this dude should be the top paid quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens.'”

“Now, I think the Ravens are the only place that should pay him top dollar, so whatever Watson got, Lamar should get that plus 15 to 20 more guaranteed. Just because of what he’s done for the organization. Having said that, I do believe there are things he needs to fix in his game in order to take that team to the promised land.”
How did the Lamar Jackson-Bernard Pollard banter begin?
It all started when ESPN’s Ryan Clark tweeted to support Jackson, suggesting he has to be among the top 10.
According to Pollard’s comments, Jackson will be a top 10 talent rather than a top 10 quarterback. He then responds to a user’s tweet saying no top WR would play for the Baltimore Ravens QB.

One thing here, if you play the game professionally you're an athlete. That notion always gets me. When the Ravens decide to give him some good WRs instead of one TE his game would change because now his options change and he can still run.
