Los Angeles Rams recently signed a 3-year extension deal with their star defensive tackle Aaron Donald, but now they have considered one more player to join them for a longer term. According to sources, LA Rams and Cooper Kupp have agreed to a contract that will make Kupp amongst the highest paid wide receiver in the league.
Recently Ian Rapoport broke the news on his Twitter account and wrote, “The [Rams] and Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp have made significant progress on a new contract extension to pay him among the highest-paid WRs in the NFL. Likely a 3-year deal, it would hand Kupp well past $20M per year based on the new money average.”

The deal between the Rams and WR Cooper Kupp is expected to be around $80 million, which includes $75 million as guaranteed money. Kupp had two years remaining on his contract, and now he has a 3-year extension to his contract.
Rams agreed this week to pay Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald a combined $205 million in new deals. Rams attempting to go back for more this season and in future seasons.

That means Cooper Kupp will play for the Rams for the next 5-years at a total cost of $110 million.

LA Rams had won the 2022 Super Bowl, and WR Cooper Kupp played a key role in the last season. In the 2021 season, he ran for 1,947 yards and had 145 receptions and 16 touchdowns. His catches and yards are 2nd most in the league’s history. Not only this, he played a key role to lead the Rams to a Super Bowl Win and also won a Triple Crown at Wide receiver.
