The celebratory event organized by Trump and his team intended to congratulate the winners. Even though Brady turned the invite down, Gronk embraced the event with his presence.
Rob Gronkowski posted pictures from his visit to the White House. He was celebrating his Super Bowl win with the former POTUS Donald Trump. On the other hand, NFL GOAT Tom Brady had his reasons for skipping the honorary event.

Gronkowski and fun go hand in hand. On his visit to the White House, the former Patriots’ WR crashed Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s daily briefing. It turned out to be a hilarious moment, and people did not get surprised by Gronk’s act. After all, he had the advantage of winning a Super Bowl and being a national sports star.

Brady being a professional, revealed the reason for turning the honorary event down. TB12 cited personal family reasons as the primary driving force behind his not being present at the White House event. Those who follow the legend know one thing, he puts family over anything.

Speaking to Extra at Met Gala, Brady said, “It was to spend time with my mom… And you know, that’s pretty important to me. It’s been a great year, but it’s even better to spend time with my parents and my kids. And I can’t wait to get that ring. That’s what I’m really looking for, that ring ceremony in a couple of months.”

While Brady took care of his mother, Gronk was busy fist-bumping former President Donald Trump. Clearly, he had his fun at the White House.
