Cooper Rush leading the Dallas Cowboys to victory

Twitter exploded with reactions to Cooper and the defensive display by the Cowboys. Cooper put on a show throwing 24 of 40 attempts, covering 325 yards with two touchdowns and a turnover. It played out perfectly, as the Cowboys had expected it to be during their star quarterback’s absence.

The team’s long-time backup QB was given the nod for a perfect opportunity to start, and he used every single bit of that moment. The star quarterback will be perfectly fine by the time they go up against the Broncos in week 9. But judging the backup’s performance, it can easily be concluded that Cooper himself can take care of the Broncos. Surely, the Cowboys have great expectations from Rush as he made sure to carry on the winning streak of the team to five games against the Vikings.
