Ever Since Coach Sean Payton announced his retirement as head coach from the New Orleans Saints, there have been some reports over the vacant position to occupy. The franchise may have announced Dennis Allen as the successor of Payton. However, there was a young girl who was ready to fill in for the mentorship of the team.

The young 9-year-old Izzy, a fan of the Black and Gold franchise living in Tennessee wrote a letter to the Saints referring to the position of Head Coach, showcasing an interest in appearing for the interview and noting why she would be a befitting choice. Although she got a little late and did not receive the job, Izzy receives a precious reply from the New Orleans Saints Franchise.

The young girl, Izzy Sherman, picked up a package with a letter signed by the Saints‘ owner, Gayle Benson. Netizen @ssherma33 took to Twitter and posted the surprise her daughter received from the franchise. The Saints sent an autographed team football with a picture of the squad as well.

In the letter, Saints owner Gayle Benson apologized to the young fan for not being a part of the interview as they got the letter after electing Dennis Allen for the job. She also applauded the young fan for achieving a 100% on her maths report card.

In the end, Benson adds some words of inspiration for Izzy to “Stay well, continue to work hard in school, and always remember you can do anything you work and set your mind to.”, and told the young fan that they will meet her at the games.

The Saints never let down the hopes of the superfan and gave her some splendid encouragement in chasing her dreams. Izzy’s father also stated that she’s been hooked on the game since she started walking and has a dream of playing in a recreational football league. The young girl has massive plans for her future, with the possibility of becoming the first female mentor in the NFL.
