Take a look at Patrick Mahomes’ idyllic abode

QB Mahomes bought the house in 2019 for roughly $1.9 million to $2.2 million, approximately just a year before he rallied the Chiefs to Super Bowl glory in 2020.

According to Work+Money, the house was constructed in 1953 and features the elements of a mid-century modern home. It features an open floor plan with built-in cupboards and panels that go all the way to the ceiling. It is located in the Country Club District on a 1.4-acre property. The main bedroom, both living spaces, and another section all have fancy stone fireplaces. A 1950s art déco-style fireplace in the living room area seems like it could have been used as a background for Don Draper. Mr. and Mrs. Mahomes also oversaw the renovation of the approximately 70-year-old home. The updates cost them nearly half a million, according to property records and New York Post.

The NFL star’s magnificent walk-in wardrobe, as well as a walk-in shoe closet, is among the house’s core characteristics. In addition, there is a Wet Bar and a home gym. Furthermore, the backyard features a sparkling in-ground pool encircled by a wide rock terrace ideal for partying or relaxing.

Getting the most out of living

The Chiefs quarterback has the house just nine miles from the Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs practice and play home games. Mahomes now lives in his sweet home with his wife, Brittany, and daughter, Sterling Skye. Not to forget, he also has 2 canines; Steel is a Pitbull, while Silver is a Cane Corso. They even got their own Instagram page as well.

In his interaction with Bleacher Report, having a house of their own in which they can grow, according to Mahomes, is a big step in their lives.

Patrick Mahomes has a 10-year, $450 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, which would be the richest agreement in NFL history. This comprises a $10 million signing bonus, a guaranteed salary of $141,481,905, and average yearly compensation of $45,000,000. If he had such a large sum of money, he could have afforded to live in a mansion. He did, however, seem to prefer elegance over extravagance.
