Bucs quarterback Tom Brady has had quite an emotional 2022 in terms of his personal and professional life. Early this year, he announced his retirement, and 40 days later, he announced his return to the NFL again. Then, he had a long emotional battle with his now ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, which ended in divorce in October.
Recently, Brady got candid and talked about the emotional struggle he had to go through this year, especially after his divorce.

It is worth noting that Bündchen was not happy with Brady coming back out of retirement just after 40 days. According to multiple reports, this caused a rift between the two, as the former Victoria’s Secret model wanted Brady to be more with the family; however, Brady chose football instead. Brady talked about choosing football and his other priorities in life as well.
Tom Brady gets candid about going through an emotional struggle after his divorce from Gisele Bündchen
In the latest episode of his weekly podcast interview, ‘Let’s Go,’ Brady had a lot to say about his emotional struggles. “I think there’s so many ways for me that it just keeps great perspective for me in my life. Why have I done it for as long as I have? You know, physically, I’ve explained that and I’ve tried to take care of myself,” Brady stated.
“Then emotionally, that’s where I think as you get older the challenges really come in, you know — because we can get distracted by other parts of life. And not distracted in a bad way but there’s priorities that take over,” Brady further stated.

Brady also talked about feeling grateful for playing in the NFL, which gives him the ultimate joy and thrill in life. “I’ve tried my best over the years to maintain what’s important to me. And been very fortunate to play a sport that I love,” Brady said further.

Brady and Bündchen have all the love for the kids despite their divorce
Despite their divorce, Brady and Bündchen always showed up for their kids and family. Notably, after their marriage back in 2009, they share 2 children with each other; one daughter, Vivian, and one son, Benjamin. Brady also has an older son named Jack with his previous partner, Bridget Moynahan. After their divorce, they share joint custody of both Benjamin and Vivian.

Recently, Vivian celebrated her 10th birthday and her father and mother both shared lovely messages on their Instagram. Bündchen reacted to Brady’s post with a heart emoji as well. Although Brady has not reacted to Bündchen’s post, they still seem to share a great bond, which is a good thing for their kids, indeed.
