Jason Kelce recently became a father for the third time. His wife Kylie Kelce did not miss the Super Bowl featuring the Philadelphia Eagles captain even while being nine months pregnant. And Kelce was there for his wife during her third labor. But was he? Kylie exposed her husband’s ‘tremendous support’ in a hilarious behind-the-scenes video.

Kelce is a dependable center for his team and took them close to win their second Vince Lombardi trophy. But how dependable was he for Kylie during the birth of their third child?

Jason Kelce always has a joke in hand whenever he gets the stage. But this time, his wife cracked a joke at his expense which the Eagles captain might not like. She posted a hilarious behind-the-scenes video of the birth of their daughter Bennett. And with the video evidence, she listed the three ways that Kelce was helpful to her during the labor.

“Three ways my husband was a tremendous support person while I was in labor,” the video starts.

Kylie then shows Kelce in various modes during the day and took hilarious digs at her husband. 

“1. Brought his own fan (better than the air mattress he was thinking of bringing). 2. Made sure he didn’t miss a meal (even though I wasn’t allowed to eat anything). 3. Stayed well rested (even though I was kept awake by contractions….and his snores,” Kylie wrote with video evidence.

Looks like Kelce has taken his offseason reset very seriously. Maybe the future Hall of Famer forgot where he was or it was his subtle ‘you got this’ message of support for Kylie. But now three kids means he might not get his favorite nap time. Especially the third one, whose name is inspired by someone close to Jason and Travis Kelce.

Inspiration behind the name 

He may have allegedly slept through his wife’s labor but Jason Kelce sure wasn’t lazy in naming the young Bennett Llewellyn. He revealed the meaning and inspiration behind the name to his brother Travis Kelce on an episode of their podcast.

“It’s Grandma Mary’s maiden name. I wanted to honor Grandma Mary, who is now resting in peace. She had a good run,” Jason told his brother.  He also admitted something similar to what his wife was hilariously pointing out in the video, that he deserves a ‘most neglectful father’ title. Do you really, Jason?

Bennett came into this world on February 23 this year, days after Jason lost to Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl LVII. His two other daughters are three-year-old Wyatt and two-year-old Elliotte, whose birthday Jason missed due to the NFL Combine.
