Kyle Pitts will join Atlanta Falcons ahead of the 2021 NFL season

In the buildup to the 2021 NFL Draft, there was a lot of noise surrounding Philadelphia-born superstar tight end, Kyle Pitts. Still just 20, Pitts is one of the youngest players to be selected in the 2021 NFL Draft. He is also the highest-drafted tight end of all time at number 4.

The Falcons took a calculated risk by bringing in Kyle, especially with the situation surrounding Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. Both these experienced veterans are arguably entering the twilight of their respective careers.

“I’m excited to see this new rookie class because there are some ballers in there. If they all get with teams who use them the right way, they can all be special players. Kyle Pitts, he’s going to dominate wherever he goes. He is a fantastic player who makes plays, makes the right decisions when he has the ball in his hands. It will be fun to see his success at the next level,” Kittle said in an interview with Sporting News.

As seen in the above stat, Pitts has the chance to establish himself as the greatest tight end in Atlanta history. The selection of Pitts will only boost the confidence of their strong offense as the Falcons gear up for a make-or-break season in 2021.
