Tom Brady might not be done with football. Despite Brady’s illustrious career spanning over 23 years having reached its conclusion, the NFL legend might still be equally involved with football. Right after his first retirement, Fox Sports roped Brady into the role of their lead analyst in 2022. Having signed a 10-year, $375 Million contract, TB12 was expected to find his comfort in front of the microphone. But uncertainties continue looming around the cause. While the greatest quarterback’s immediate future appears in doubt, the greatest tight end might be willing to take up a similar role.

Travis Kelce’s showbiz ambitions

As it turns out, Travis Kelce had always been attracted to bright lights. Whether it’s the mind-numbing chaos in the gridiron or the loud applause after a stellar performance, no moment ever felt too big for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Even SNL had been on Kelce’s radar for a while, but a gut-wrenching loss at the hands of Tom Brady during Super Bowl LV put his plans on hold.

Additionally, Kelce realized that most of the NFL greats, who have had the opportunity were in marquee positions. Speaking on his realization, Kelce shared with Vanity Fair, “There’s only been like maybe three or four guys that weren’t quarterbacks that ever got to actually host.” Nevertheless, Kelce conquered that front, securing himself another Super Bowl title and making his SNL debut. But the Kansas great is not done.
