WOW! Tom Brady Connects With Chris Godwin for First Touchdown of the 2021 NFL Season

Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammates started their 2021 NFL preseason with sheer determination and dedication. The reigning champions knew they have a prize on their head ahead of what promises to be a tough title defense. GM Jason Licht and coach Bruce Arians did their best in the offseason to hold on to their key names including Antonio Brown and Leonard Fournette.

On the other hand, Mike McCarthy’s Dallas Cowboys welcomed back star man Dak Prescott to training this offseason. After his nasty double compound ankle fracture in 2020, Prescott will lead the line for the Cowboys this season as they aim to make it back to the playoffs.

However, it was veteran NFL quarterback Tom Brady who had the first laugh on NFL opening day 2021.

Tom Brady is back at it again against the Dallas Cowboys

Reigning Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady proved why he is regarded as the GOAT of football with an inspiring display in the opening quarter of today’s game against their NFC East counterparts. After a couple of positive drives up the field, Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their first touchdown of the 2020 NFL season with 5 minutes left on the clock in the 1st quarter.

On 1st & goal, the 44-year old quarterback managed to find wide receiver Chris Godwin in the endzone to give the home team a 7-0 lead in the first half.

The Cowboys did not sit back though. Dak Prescott found sophomore wideout CeeDee Lamb to give the visitors their first touchdown of the ongoing campaign.

But the lead did not last long as TB12 pulled off yet another clutch play. The 3-time NFL MVP found ‘best friend’ Rob Gronkowski in the endzone who managed to hold on to the ball and give the Bucs control of the game once again.
