“Wrestlemania Chatter Is WILD Right Now”: Pat McAfee Teases A Return At The Show of Shows

Pat McAfee had a pretty good in-ring career in the WWE over the past few months. He is currently enjoying the action from ringside as a color commentator for the SmackDown brand. But in a recent tweet, the former NFL punter has teased a return to the squared circle for WrestleMania.
McAfee is hosting one of the biggest names in the wrestling industry on his podcast this Thursday. Rumors are going around that this guest could be Pat’s opponent at WrestleMania. The guest is none other than the chairman of the World Wrestling Entertainment, Vince McMahon.

Pat McAfee teases an in-ring return
Pat McAfee first let his presence known to the wrestling world in 2018. He started making appearances in WWE’s third brand, NXT. McAfee was over with the fans. Seeing the reaction, WWE wasted no time in making him a pre-show analyst for the NXT TakeOver events.

During his run with the black and gold brand, McAfee had a bone to pick with Adam Cole. Cole was a huge part of NXT back then. In July of 2020, McAfee invited Cole to be a guest on his podcast. But during the interview, the former NFL punter would insult the leader of the Undisputed Era. Cole would get angry and walk out of the interview. It would later turn into a match on NXT TakeOver XXX. This was McAfee’s in-ring debut.

In a recent tweet Pat wrote, “You all seem to know A LOT more abaht what I’m up to than me.. ” He adds, “WrestleMania chatter is WILD right now.” A video has also been uploaded with the tweet. It shows all of McAfee’s wrestling highlights. Fans were quick to speculate a return to action at WrestleMania for the SmackDown commentator.

The Pat McAfee Show has become synonymous with the WWE these days. The company uses the show to set up many of its feuds. It was this show that ignited the fire between McAfee and Adam Cole.

McAfee has announced his next guest on the Broadcast. Perhaps its biggest name ever. Vince McMahon will make an appearance on Thursday.
