However, Richard Gouraige, an offensive tackle from Florida, has had to put his dream on hold.

However, his plans were disrupted when he woke up with a swollen ankle after undergoing a pain tolerance test, which unexpectedly resulted in an injury. Reports suggest that the injury occurred during his medical examinations, and as a result, he has had to withdraw from the drills he had intended to participate in.

Other fans were trying to wrap their heads around the so-called ‘Pain Tolerance Test’.

But for some fans, the news sounded fishy. Pain tolerance tests are hardly known by most fans. To further say that a player was injured because of said tests is extremely bizarre, which led many fans to cast their doubts. 

Some fans claimed that the news was fabricated by Gouraige’s agent in a bid to cover up his injury.  As these fans put it.

For Gouraige, the injury is a bitter pill to swallow. He has been preparing for this moment for years. All draft prospects have high hopes of impressing scouts and securing a place in the NFL.
