The first game the duo predicted was the Las Vegas Raiders vs Cincinnati Bengals. At the end of the regular season, Cincinnati was not necessarily the favorite to win this game. However, Madden picked the Bengals and asked Flair to make his prediction. Ric said, “Bengals, all day long.” He adds, “I love Joe Burrow, and I’m so happy he came back from that knee injury.” Both agreed and moved on to the next game. The Bills were the favorites, walking into the wild card game against the Patriots. Madden and the Nature Boy agreed with the fans and picked the Buffalo Bills.

The last AFC game the duo predicted was the Steelers vs the Chiefs. For this game, they agreed with Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers are the underdog, but they will have a hard time conquering the Chiefs. Flair said, “Sentimentally, I feel the same way about Ben [Roethlisberger], But I don’t think that they can beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead.”

The 49ers and the Cowboys game was next. Madden is rooting for an upset. He thinks that the Cowboys are the most overrated team in the NFL. Flair says, “After watching them yesterday, I take the Niners too.” He adds, “Either Shanahan is a great coach, but that kid [Jimmy] Garoppolo, he played outstanding, I mean, they’re gonna be tough to beat.” For the final NFC wild-card game, both Madden and Flair picked the LA Rams over the Arizona Cardinals.
