The Lake Effect snowstorm shook Western New York after a downpour of heavy snow in the area. It also affected the city of Buffalo, and the Bills had a big game in Week 11. While the NFL moved the home game to Ford Field, the city was under the snow. But the Bills Mafia gave all their dedication to their team. Von Miller revealed how the fans took them out of the sleet.

LB Von Miller opened the latest episode of ‘The VonCast’ by thanking the Bills Mafia for their cherishing support in such adverse conditions. The fanbase dug through the 77-inch layer, or over six feet of snow, to make the team reach their game in Detroit, Michigan. The LB praised the efforts made by the community for the franchise.

Von Miller mentioned, “Lake Erie just dumped on us. Snow after snow after snow for a whole 24 hours. I was kind of skeptical at first. I was kind of thinking, ‘Man, it might not snow like that. It might, they might just do a little something.’ But huge snowflakes, non-stop, 24 hours. Man, it was crazy man. Looking for me, my son was here. I live right next door to coach McDermott. We had plenty of food, but that wasn’t the case for everybody. So I just want to say thank you to Orchard Park. Thank You to Bills Mafia. You guys are incredible.”

Von Miller and the Bills safely made their way to Detroit and pulled a victory over the Browns, 31-23.
