‘You Think Aaron Rodgers Can Beat Me to the Endzone?’ – Buccaneers Player Calls Out Packers Qb

For Aaron Rodgers, a second Super Bowl ring seems to be just a stone’s throw away. And that’s because the quarterback has now been to back to back NFC title games only to make it over the final hurdle to book a Super Bowl berth. 

Last season it was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who halted his progress and the year before that were the Seattle Seahawks. But last season will hurt Rodgers more.

Apart from the wound still being fresh, many believe that game could’ve played out differently had Aaron Rodgers run the ball during a crucial fourth-quarter play.

There was a small window for Rodgers to make a run for but instead, he decided to throw the ball. But Buccaneers linebacker Devin White feels there is no way that the QB could’ve completed the run for the endzone.

With NFL Films releasing the trailer for ‘America’s Game: The 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers’, fans got a glimpse of never before seen footage of the Buccaneers team.

And in that trailer, White is referring to the Rodgers play by saying the Packers QB would never have been able to make the play.

“That play they said he could have run? I’m standing right there in the endzone. Do you think Aaron Rodgers can beat me to the endzone? No, sir,” said White. 

The Buccaneers mounted the Aaron Rodgers challenge and eventually went on to win Super Bowl LV by trouncing the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. And the Packers suffered another season with another season of the ‘so close, yet so far’ syndrome.
