Former Indianapolis Colts & Denver Broncos QB, Peyton Manning, set the tone for what it meant to be a QB. In a distinguished career that saw him lift two super bowls and countless other awards. Manning has earned rave critiques for his dedication to his trade throughout his career. As he did not miss a single game in the regular season until the final embers of his career.

But in a recent interview with former teammate and punter Pat McAfee. The QB was put under the microscope by McAfee as Manning joined him on a call from Italy. This comes just days before the documentary ‘Quarterbacks’ by Netflix is scheduled to release.

Peyton set an example for the team on and off the pitch with the diligence he displayed over a decade at the RCA Dome. With the legend on his show, McAfee was quick to recall his days with Manning at the Colts. McAfee goes on to say that he wished the world got to see Peyton Manning behind the scenes. The former colts pairing would discuss the Netflix documentary, ‘Quarterback’. With the duo praising Mahomes for his ability to maintain the persona on and off the pitch he has built as a father and a QB. The former Broncos QB would go as far as to call Mahomes, “the ultimate competitor.”

The documentary includes cousins, Mariota and Mahomes shedding light on how tough it is to be a QB. Manning adds that “you have about 2.4 seconds to make a decision on every single play. Every time you throw a ball three things can happen two of them are bad. Uh and yet you have guys doing it at the highest level, like Mahomes, like cousins this year Marcus showed flashes.”
