‘You’ll See’- Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll Drops Huge Hint About Odell Beckham Jr’s Next Destination

Ever since Odell Beckham Jr. has been up for claims, every team in the NFL is having sleepless nights in an attempt to sign the star wideout. Seattle Seahawks, being one of those teams, is going through a lot of internal discussions as they try to compete with other bigger teams.
The Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll in an interview reported that the team was very much interested in signing OBJ. And that it’s just a matter of time to see what unfolds in the market and who OBJ chooses to be with at the end of the waiver claim.

“You have to wait and see how this all goes,” Pete Carroll said. “But at this time, I don’t know. I’ve been on the practice field. I don’t know what’s going on with that. As you would think, we’re aware of what’s going on and we’ve been involved to understand it and compete to know what’s happening. And we’ll let you know as it all happens. So I didn’t say yes, or I didn’t say no. That’s just cause… you’ll see.”
Pete Carroll is asked whether Seattle will claim Odell Beckham, Jr. He does not rule it out, ending his answer with this and a smile: “So, I didn’t say yes or I didn’t say no. That’s just cause…you’ll see.”

The team that signs Odell Beckham Jr. has to agree upon the remaining $7.25 million of his contract as well. And currently, there are only nine teams that can accommodate the $7.25 million in their salary-cap space. One of them is the Seattle Seahawks.

Could Seattle Seahawks be OBJ’s landing spot?

However, according to OBJ’s recent claims, the three-time Pro Bowl receiver wishes to join hands with a team that has the most chances of making the playoffs this season. Although Seattle Seahawks are not doing well in their season record but with the return of Russell Wilson into the team, the Seahawks look stronger than ever.
