Many fans lashed out at Brittany after the Chiefs’ third straight loss to Joe Burrow and the Bengals.

Brittany Mahomes faces the heat
Brittany Mahomes is always active on Twitter whenever the Chiefs take the field in the NFL. And Sunday’s game against the Bengals was no different. Brittany posted her one-word reaction to a Travis Kelce fumble that ultimately undid the Chiefs against their AFC arch-rivals.

The fans were not impressed by the team’s performance. And some of them projected their anger at Brittany, who is the wife of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes and Co. failed to beat Joe Burrow and the Bengals for the third straight game they have faced each other. Cincinnati beat Kansas twice last season. And they came from behind to do it again, this time around.

Kryptonite for Patrick Mahomes
The fans expected the Chiefs to get revenge from the Bengals for their AFC championship drubbing of last season. And at the end of the third quarter, it seemed as if the fans would get their wish. But Joe Burrow and the Bengals’ defense had other ideas.

First the Bengals’ defense snatched the ball away from the Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce to force a turnover in the fourth quarter. The score was 24-20 in the favor of the Chiefs at that point. And then Burrow converted the subsequent drive into a touchdown to win the game. He has really become the kryptonite to Mahomes’ Superman efforts.

Burrow threw 286 yards of passes in the game for two touchdowns while Mahomes managed 223 yards for one touchdown. This year’s AFC playoffs have a hell of a lot riding on them. Will Mahomes finally have his say against Burrow? Or will the Kryptonite prove too much for the Chiefs’ Superman once again?
