On October 17, 2023, Analyst Pat McAfee posted his recent discussion on the Cowboys’ recent games on X. He was asked if the Cowboys are now on the same level as the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East. According to McAfee, Dak Prescott is high-stepping and making plays on 4th and 1-handed. Not to mention, Ceedee Lamb and Tony Pollard are exceptional players, too, who significantly stood out against the Chargers. So, the Cowboys not only have a good offense but also a good defense. “I think the Cowboys are all the way back,” said McAfee.

The Analyst then started comparing the Cowboys to the Eagles. He mentioned that the Eagles are obviously 5-1, and the Cowboys are 4-2. Nevertheless, they have showcased an offense that can be efficient. McAfee then continued to make comparisons to prove that point.

Pat McAfee started a discussion on the defense of the Dallas Cowboys and how good they were. They can even go against a strong team like the Eagles. Pat McAfee praised the Dallas Cowboys’ incredible defense, stating, “Their defense, whenever it had to close, was able to close. Stephon Gilmore with the pick, Micah Parsons with the sack late in the 4th. It’s just like, yeah, the Cowboys are all the way back until we see the Philadelphia Eagles play football again.”

McAfee continued, “Then we’re going to say, yeah, yeah, the Philadelphia Eagles are still a team that made it to the Super Bowl last year.” The Jets have a great defense that could tackle the Eagles’ tush push, and the Cowboys have no weak defense either.
