The Dallas Cowboys were on a road to winning after they won 2 consecutive matches in this season. But their dominating start wasn’t dominating for long enough. When the Cowboys faced the Arizona Cardinals, they were overwhelmed with the opposing team’s performance.

The Cowboys lost 28-16 on Sunday Night Football when the Cardinals hosted them at State Farm Stadium. This was the Cardinals’ first win of the season. Meanwhile, this was the first defeat for the Cowboys. The American sports columnist Skip Bayless was rooting for the Cowboys and when the team suffered a defeat, he did not hesitate to show his disappointment online.

Bayless openly admitted his disappointment

As the Cardinals led the game, it was evident that they would be the winning team. The Cardinals finally won their first match on Sunday night but that doesn’t state that the Cowboys were playing shabby. But it surely disappointed Bayless which he expressed online on his X (Formerly Twitter) account.

The ‘Undisputed’ show host said that this halftime deficit was very embarrassing for the Cowboys. He also pointed out that they were on their home field, so it was clearly a benefit for them, but the Cowboys failed to use that as their plus point. Bayless said, “This halftime deficit at Arizona is all the more embarrassing because NO ROAD TEAM HAS MORE OF A HOME-FIELD ADVANTAGE ON THE ROAD THAN DALLAS AT ARIZONA, WHERE THE COWBOY FANS, MANY FROM CALIFORNIA, TAKE OVER THE STADIUM.”

He made it clear what his thoughts about the match were. The television star also posted a video online showing his disappointment when the Cowboys lost. He did not miss any chance to showcase his true emotions regarding the match. Not just him, another TV star, Stephen A. Smith, also shared his thoughts about the results of the game.

Stephen A. thrashed the Cowboys online

It was evident after the match that the Cowboys would be made fun of as the Cardinals hadn’t defeated anyone but them. Although the team had almost half a dozen players injured, still that didn’t let Stephen A. go soft on the Cowboys.

The sports journalist also posted a video on his X account sharing his reaction after the ending of the match. The TV star was seen laughing continuously. The ‘First Take’ show host reminded people that he kept telling everyone to listen to him, but no one did. Then Stephen A. remarks, “They didn’t even lose to an Eagle, they lost to a Cardinal.”
